ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched the Case Assignments and Management System (CAMS) on Friday, aimed at ensuring transparent, efficient, and timely justice for litigants. The initiative addresses the long-standing demand for a more responsive judicial system.

- CAMS Inauguration: PM Sharif highlighted that the system would resolve issues related to delays in justice, ensuring a fair and timely process for litigants.
- International Support: He thanked the UNODC and Canadian High Commission for funding the project.
- Past Challenges: Reflecting on the failure of previous systems like the FBR’s track and trace initiative, he emphasized the current government’s success in implementing an effective system.
- Justice Reform: PM Sharif mentioned his personal involvement in ensuring reforms and highlighted ongoing efforts to expedite cases worth trillions of rupees.
The prime minister also discussed his commitment to retrieving public funds, citing a successful Rs24 billion case adjudicated by the Sindh High Court.

The government is committed to providing necessary funding for this initiative, ensuring training aligns with international standards.
