Ukraine has announced plans to acquire approximately 4.5 million first-person view (FPV) drones this year, investing over $2.6 billion in its defense capabilities. These small, cost-effective drones have proven highly effective, with reports indicating their significant impact on military operations.

Over the past few years, the country has focused on strengthening its domestic defense industry, aiming to reduce reliance on external suppliers. A substantial portion of drone procurement has already been sourced locally, with plans for further expansion into advanced unmanned aerial technology.

As modern conflicts evolve, both sides have increasingly turned to innovative and efficient alternatives to traditional weaponry. Military leaders emphasize the importance of staying at the forefront of technological advancements to maintain strategic advantages.
