A Chinese passenger aircraft traveling from London to Chengdu was forced to make an emergency landing in Russia, according to reports from international media including The Observer and The Guardian.
The plane, operated by a Chinese airline, was carrying 155 passengers when the incident occurred.
The aircraft had taken off from London’s Heathrow Airport last night and was en route to the Chinese city of Chengdu.
Russian airport services confirmed that the emergency landing was carried out after one of the engines failed during the flight.
