China Wins RoboCup Held in Brazil

China won the RoboCup in Brazil, showcasing its technical superiority.

International media reported that both Chinese teams competed in the humanoid robot football championship final in Brazil for the first time.

Both teams made use of humanoid robots called Booster Robotic T-1, which were built in Beijing. The robots’ actions during the match showed exceptional balance and control. China’s performance demonstrated its notable progress in robotics and artificial intelligence through these competitions, as noted by the Observer Guardian.

China’s share of the worldwide humanoid robot market in 2024 was 2.76 billion Chinese yuan, or about 380 million USD. By 2030, it is anticipated that this would have increased to 100 billion Chinese yuan.

According to Ling Jun, the deputy director of Chinese customs, China has seen a 61.5 percent surge in industrial robot imports. China is now the second-largest supplier of industrial robots worldwide, according to the Observer Guardian, indicating its increasing dominance in the market.
