Govt Confirms Cellular Service Issues and Plans 5G Rollout in Pakistan

The government has confirmed that mobile and internet service problems still exist in many parts of the country. Users continue to face weak signals dropped calls and slow internet speeds especially in rural and remote areas. Officials admitted that although the telecom network has improved over the years the quality of service is still not consistent across all regions. To fix these problems the government has announced plans to launch 5G technology in Pakistan. Causes of Network Problems

The 5G Rollout and Future Plans

The government has decided to hold a telecom spectrum auction to prepare for the introduction of 5G services in Pakistan. The rollout is expected to begin in late 2025 starting in major cities and then expanding to other regions.
