Israel Continues to Attack Gaza, Killing 60 More Palestinians

With dozens more killed in the most recent round of attacks, Israel’s unrelenting assault on Gaza is showing no signs of abating.

At least 60 more Palestinians, many of them innocent civilians, have been murdered by Israeli airstrikes since the morning, according to accounts in the Arab media. 27 people who had gathered to accept humanitarian aid were among the casualties, serving as a sobering reminder of the ongoing conflict’s human cost.

International humanitarian organisations are becoming increasingly concerned about these attacks, which are increasingly targeting civilians, including people who are waiting for food and medical assistance, as reported by The Guardian and The Observer.

According to regional reports, in addition to the deaths, more than 180 Palestinians have been injured in today’s attacks alone.

As part of its ground operations, the Israeli military has deployed five complete divisions and claimed to have carried out more than 250 airstrikes on Gaza in the past 48 hours. The Guardian warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis and called the extent of the damage “catastrophic.”

The international community and rights organisations have strongly denounced Israeli forces’ continuous targeting of humanitarian distribution stations in recent days, according to observers.

With no safe haven left, the people of Gaza continue to endure unspeakable losses as the siege deepens.
