The Emergence of Mahrang Baloch and BYC
The emergence of Mahrang Baloch and her BYC is no tale of rights activism. It is a story of influence, secrets and working hand in hand with terrorist organizations. Mahrang has given shelter to BLA terrorists many times. She was caught stealing the body of a BLA terrorist following the Jafar Express hijacking. She described Wadood Satakzai the suicide bomber celebrated by BLA because of the Mach attack as a missing person. She attempted to repatriate the bodies of terrorists who were killed after the attack on the Mach and Gwadar port as well. These are not those of a rights activist. These are the doings of a proxy. In July 2025 her own cousin and bodyguard Sohaib Langov was killed in Turbat as a BLA saramchar.
The reality is clear. Mahrang is not neutral. She is locked in the very terror networks that she claims to be acting against.
BYC and Its Nature
BYC of Mahrang lacks legal and constitutional status. It is a body of propaganda rather than rights. It does not respect the laws in Pakistan. Its rallies are anti-state. It is anti-development in terms of demand. It has anti-Pakistan slogans. BYC is not about justice. It is about disruption. The Gwadar sit in is a good example. It was not fishermen or families. It was a strategic bid to sabotage the CPEC projects and the functions of the Gwadar port.
In a sensitive area, Mahrang instigated the masses against the state. She even allowed the BLA members to cover their meetings with her. This is not activism. It is the front.
BYC is a terrorist proxy targeting innocent Baloch to earn the attention of Western powers in exchange of dollars.
Lies of Mahrang and BYC Are Exposed
The lies of Mahrang are many. She says that she fights for missing people. However, most of them who disappeared have resurfaced as suicide bombers in Mach and Gwadar attacks. This reveals the richness of her propaganda. Her own words betrayed her.
She confessed that families of people killed by Pakistan were sitting in her camp after it attacked terrorist hideouts in Iran. What greater proof is needed.
She also travels openly to other countries including Norway where she meets with handlers and receives money to distribute anti-Pakistan propaganda. She has made her stage an outpost of foreign interest. She struggles against her country rather than on behalf of people.
BYC and BLA Two Sides of the Same Coin
The linkage between BYC and the BLA cannot be denied. BYC has the support of the abscond BLA leader Harbiyar Marri in London. He is leading a high life and blood is flowing in Balochistan. He sends BYC to act on the other side of the terror agenda. BYC also has been campaigning on behalf of Zaheer Zeb the brother of the BLF leader Basher Zeb. This confirms its close affiliation with BLF, a RAW backed terror group. The network is tight. The agenda is shared. The violence is coordinated. BYC does not distinctly exist as BLA or BLF. They are identical projects dressed in other costumes.
The tragedy is that BYC was silent. As BLF and NLA rob off poor shopkeepers, kidnap innocents and murder pilgrims in Nushki, BYC remains silent. Just as the Punjabi workers are butchered out of cold blood, BYC turns a blind eye. Barbers, children and women are targeted but BYC does not say anything. It sheds no tears over the victims. It is not angry with the killers. It only sympathizes with the terrorists. This silence is complicity. BYC is joining the side of the terror groups by not condemning their atrocities. It stands against the people. It betrays the Baloch cause.
The Agenda is Clear
It is no secret what Mahrang and her BYC are all about. It is to demonstrate insecure Balochistan. It is to prevent overseas investment. It is to destroy development. It is to leave Baloch young men in despair. BYC promotes despair instead of education, employment and development. It distorts the youth into violence and anger. It draws them as recruits to both BLA and BLF. By doing this Mahrang acts in the interests of those who are enemies of Pakistan. She is not a voice for rights. She is a violent facilitator. She is a terrorist sympathizer. She is a proxy of BLA.
