NAB Vows to Guard Bahria Town Residents’ Rights Against Fraud

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the legal rights of Bahria Town residents and property owners, ensuring that no citizen is deprived of their rightful assets.

In an official statement from Islamabad, NAB dismissed fabricated reports and misleading claims that have recently circulated, warning that such false narratives are being exploited by certain elements to illegally acquire properties at undervalued prices.

NAB declared that all residents and owners are regarded as victims under the Bureau’s mandate, having fallen prey to fraudulent schemes. As both an observer monitoring developments and a guardian defending public interest, NAB vowed to deploy all legal measures to ensure that their rights, dignity, and property remain intact.

The Bureau clarified that its investigations and legal actions are exclusively targeted towards the project’s developers, their associated entities, and their illegally acquired assets. It stressed that ordinary homeowners are not the subject of any adverse measures.

Reiterating its stance, NAB assured that legal proceedings will persist until the entire sum of embezzled funds is recovered and returned to the rightful stakeholders. The Bureau pledged to act as a vigilant observer over the process and as an unyielding guardian of justice for those wronged.
