Punjab to Launch Pakistan’s First Digital Profiling System

The government of Punjab has approved the launch of Pakistan’s first digital profiling system to improve threat detection and support law enforcement and intelligence agencies. The project will cost about 334 million rupees and will be completed in two phases. The first phase will receive 204 million rupees and the second phase will cost around 130 million rupees. This new system will become an important part of Punjab’s intelligence and security setup under the Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centre. It will use modern tools like artificial intelligence machine learning and real time video analysis to track high risk individuals and organizations. The system will also collect data from local and international sources to identify possible threats more quickly and accurately.

Digital Profiling System Features and Objectives

The digital profiling system will use advanced technology to strengthen data collection and intelligence work. It will include real time monitoring artificial intelligence and predictive analysis to identify unusual or suspicious behavior. The system will also connect information from different government departments so that security teams can act faster and more effectively.

One main goal of the project is to create a single digital database that helps security agencies manage threats before they turn into serious incidents. This combined system will allow the government to prevent and respond to crime and terrorism with better accuracy.
