Israel launched multiple airstrikes on southern Lebanon, resulting in one death and eight injuries, according to local reports.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the attacks, calling them a violation of international law and a blatant act of aggression. He stated that although over six months have passed since the ceasefire, Israel has continued to reject all diplomatic settlement efforts between the two nations.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) expressed concern that the Israeli assaults endanger civilians and undermine the Lebanese Army’s peacekeeping efforts in the region.
