Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting in Islamabad with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the longstanding and brotherly ties between the two nations. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the relationship between Pakistan and Iran is rooted in shared history, cultural heritage, religion, and mutual respect.
President Pezeshkian appreciated Pakistan’s continued support and expressed a strong desire to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors. He also voiced expectations for meaningful discussions with Pakistani leadership aimed at strengthening political and economic relations.
