The incident took place in the town of Madbury, according to American media. Emily Long, 34, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside her house, according to the authorities. She shot her husband, Ryan Long, 48, and their two kids, Parker, 8, and Ryan, 6, to death before ending her own life.
Both children were shot in the head, according to investigators, and the spouse was shot several times. The family’s predicament may have been greatly exacerbated by the fact that Ryan Long had been fighting terminal cancer, according to the police.
