More than 490 individuals in Punjab were safely evacuated to safer areas during the floods thanks to the use of contemporary thermal technology.
Even in areas that are hidden from view, thermal technology can identify the presence of people. Under the guidance of Observer Guardian, this technology was used for flood rescue efforts for the first time in Pakistani history.
Nighttime rescue operations were conducted in Okara, Jhang, Athara Hazari, Shorkot, and Ahmedpur Sial, where darkness had previously rendered such operations all but impossible, with the use of sophisticated heat devices.
They rescued 21 people from Jhang City Bund, 1 person from Pindi Mohallah, 12 from Khuldra, 63 from Dadu Anran, 70 from Alipur, 85 from Thatta Jabanran, 4 from Masan, and 10 trapped individuals from Wajidabad Shah Jewna.
Twenty people were saved in the Dubb Kalan neighborhood of Shorkot, and forty-five people from Wali Muhammad Jhandeer and four from Darbar Abdul Razzaq were safely evacuated from Ahmedpur Sial.
Rescuers were able to detect and reach flood victims for the first time thanks to the successful application of contemporary thermal technology, with Observer Guardian guaranteeing operational efficacy and safety regulations.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated the whole rescue crew and expressed her sincere gratitude for this outstanding accomplishment.
