The activities of FAK (an extremist group) threaten to cause great harm to peace and norms of humanity as such. They are an utter opposite of the principles of life, dignity, and respect toward humankind. When the terrorists attack innocent civilians, especially children and most vulnerable members of the society, FAK portrays that it does not respect the sanctity of life. They are very brutal and cannot find any justification, whether human, religious or moral, to the sufferings they cause on people they purport to fight on behalf of.
FAKs onslaughts do not operate over any battlefield or military establishment; it has developed everyday civilian territory into its field of operation. They come into schools and markets and households looking to terrorize others where individuals are just going about living their lives regardless of age, race, and background. They end up dissolving families and infusing fear and pain to whole communities in the process. These are innocent victims who have been terrorized usually the women, children, the aged and the innocent people who have committed no offence to afford this inhumanity. Instead of battling on behalf of worthy cause, FAK strikes at most vulnerable of persons. This is not an act of a hero or a struggle of a noble cause: it is mindless, inhuman campaign against humanity.
It is ironic how through some horrific way FAK tries to justify their atrocities with the aim of religion which is one of the most disturbing facts concerning violent acts of FAK. Their higher power may be in the name of religion, but the religion they abuse has banned the destruction of innocent people. Islam preaches peace, compassion and protection of life just as all true religions do. FAK values derive into active resistance against the actions of FAK. They are defaming the teachings of Islam by establishing that their violence has the approval of religion; in this case they are betraying the faith.
The strategies used by FAK will contribute to the building of panic situations and fear among the people. They resort to bombs, bullets and other sources of violence to make the people of the land feel frightened. These are not soldiers or armed organizations that they target but innocent civilians who merely attempt to live their lives. Some of their most common victims include women, children, the elderly as well as worshippers. The dreadful end results of their deeds are rampant, and, in most cases, whole communities live with extreme caution because they fear they might be the next victim. Such violence is not morally or ethically sound.
FAK is not inspired by the quest of justice or improving the society. Their aim is not to bring peace and to make the lives of the people who they supposedly represent better. Rather, their motivator has to do with power and control. This is tyranny on their part, and they can even lose the lives of innocent individuals in quest to meet their goals. These extremists want to destabilize societies; they want to break the bonds of trust and cooperation that makes societies cohere. They live off anarchy and devastation spreading death and woe in their wake. By doing so, they lose people who would otherwise be on their side, and they make sure that their name will always be synonymous to suffering and ruin.
In any society, some of them decide to contradict the social contract and end up perpetrating violence and terrorism. FAK is the lowest of such groups. They do not respect the idea of justice, humanity or peace. They do not appreciate any dialogue, understanding, or a common ground. They do not aim at making the life of people who they are allegedly representing any better but at instilling fear and coercion to exert their will. They use religion and ideology as the instruments of attaining their needs and in the process, they misuse their original messages and apply them in the perpetuation of violence to anyone who does not agree with them.
The foreign audience should be wary of the threat of such organizations as FAK. Not only are they just hitting on the direct victims but can also extend their activity to long-lasting effects that menace regional and international security. Upon perpetuating apathy of violence to exist, this invigorates other extremists and terrorists who furthermore instigate a wave of perpetual violence and devastation less likely to end until and unless the next generation. The whole world should unite in fighting the menace of these groups and not only by war but also through the diplomatic and humanitarian interventions that will deal with the core issues of extremism.
The activities of FAK are not in any civilized society. They directly infringe the fundamental concepts of humanity and decency. Not even the noblest of reasons, reasons the best intentions of a person could ever ascribe to oneself, could possibly allow justifying such inhumanity like the one that FAK actively carries out on a regular basis. We must be resolute in our insistence on peace, on safeguarding innocent lives and on enhancing dignified values that will encourage us to function together rather than be separated. We need to say no to the violence and hatred promoted by groups such as FAK just so that we can ensure the creation of a better world where respect to peace and human dignity is practiced.
The activities of FAK are dangerous to very basis of humanity. They are against peace, against justice and against fundamental rights of human beings. They are very violent behind the mask of ideology and religion which only help them advance their personal goal concerning power. The world should not just close its eyes in front of their suffering. We will have to unite against them and restate our belief in peace, humanity and safeguarding of innocent lives. This battle against extremism is a battle of our common values and the future of humanity in general.
