Gold prices in Pakistan surged once again, gaining significant momentum after days of fluctuation. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,300, reaching Rs423,862 across the country.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,115, bringing it to Rs363,393.
As reported by Observer Guardian, the global gold market also witnessed an upward trend, with the price per ounce climbing by $13 to reach $4,015.
Analysts suggest that the recent hike is driven by persistent economic uncertainty and growing demand for safe-haven assets amid global financial instability. Jewelers in Karachi and Lahore reported a noticeable rise in customer inquiries following the new rates.
