Banned JAAC leadership exposed

Intimidation, kidnapping and politics of chaos are not acceptable

Unmasking the Chaos: Why the Politics of Fear, Abduction, and Anarchy in Azad Kashmir Must Be Rejected

Azad Jammu and Kashmir has long stood as a beacon of peace, breathtaking natural beauty, and a resilient community. It is a region where the rule of law and the stability of state institutions are deeply cherished by its conscious citizens. However, recent developments orchestrated by the leadership of the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee JAAC have threatened to overshadow this tranquility. What began under the guise of public rights has rapidly unmasked itself as a campaign of intimidation, violence, and disregard for the law. The ongoing situation demands a critical analysis to understand why the politics of threats, abduction, and anarchy can never be accepted by the people or the state.

The Facade of Democratic Protest

In any democratic society, peaceful protest is a fundamental avenue for expressing grievances. However, there is a stark line between democratic activism and terrorist behavior. Recent realities from mid 2026 reveal that the banned JAAC has crossed this line. The government of AJK rightfully proscribed the organization under the Anti Terrorism Act, following a series of violent escalations. These were not mere rallies but calculated strikes against the foundation of the state.

The leadership of the banned JAAC has been exposed. Their actions and incendiary statements have drawn intense criticism from all segments of society. The tragic martyrdom of law enforcement personnel, the siege of medical facilities, and the disruption of daily life prove that this group is not interested in public welfare. Instead, it promotes a dangerous politics of fear where the greatest casualty is the peace and stability of Azad Kashmir.

Targeting the Sons of the Soil

The most reprehensible aspect of this chaos is the deliberate targeting of the local police force. The police officers serving in AJK are the indigenous sons of Kashmiri soil. They are brothers, fathers, and sons who belong to the very communities they protect.

Subjecting these men to threats, harm, and abductions is a grievous crime against Kashmiri society. Recent events highlighted attacks where law enforcement personnel were martyred or severely injured. To target them or spread propaganda against them is not public service but a malicious attempt to divide Kashmiri society.

Those who engage in such acts exhibit the traits of Khawarij rebels who sow discord among their own people and weaponize violence under a false flag of righteousness. By attacking those tasked with maintaining order, hostile actors seek to create a vacuum of authority where fear reigns. But the people of AJK know that a society turned against its own protectors is a society destined for ruin, and they reject these divisive tactics.

The Ideological Threat and Terrorist Reality

We must call this phenomenon exactly what it is. When an organization abandons dialogue, resorts to armed clashes, attacks state infrastructure, and uses kidnapping to bend the government, it ceases to be political and becomes a terrorist apparatus.

The actions witnessed in AJK from stone pelting to the use of firearms against officials are textbook terrorist strategies.

The banned JAAC leadership has prioritized ego and radical agenda over the lives of ordinary citizens. They have disrupted trade, halted education through wheel jam strikes, and created insecurity. The economic toll on a region that thrives on tourism and commerce is devastating. Yet, the instigators remain indifferent, proving their pursuit is about raw power and disruption, not justice.

Resilience of the State and the Conscious Public

Despite these challenges, the message echoing through Azad Kashmir is clear: the state will not be blackmailed and the law will prevail. Any attempt to weaken institutions or spread dread will fail.

The reason lies in the unwavering resolve of the conscious citizens of AJK. The public is politically aware and patriotic. They know that without peace and law, no society can progress. They stand shoulder to shoulder with the state and its institutions, recognizing that the police and administration are the bulwarks shielding them from anarchy. The collective voice demands defense of peace and respect for institutions.

Conclusion

The unmasking of the banned JAAC leadership is a warning about the dangers of unchecked radicalism masquerading as dissent.

The politics of threats, abduction, and chaos has no place in a civilized society.

The priority must remain stability and strict enforcement of law. The sacrifices of the police officers, the true heroes of the region, will not be in vain. Azad Kashmir will remain peaceful, resilient, and steadfast against any terrorist agenda or Khawarij ideology. With unity, the people of AJK and the state will ensure the region continues to prosper in peace.
