The body of Irfan Ali Dinari was recovered near the Ghattirra area of Jhal Magsi. He had been abducted along with three others, and then came the kind of news that breaks any family beyond repair. A mother’s son, a wife’s husband, someone’s father, gone, like a lamp extinguished in the night. The soil of Balochistan was soaked once again in innocent blood. But what refuses to let this remain just another tragedy is this: Irfan Ali Dinari was himself Baloch, and those who abducted and killed him claim to be champions of Baloch rights. This contradiction is neither new nor accidental. It is the true face of Fitna al-Hindustan’s terrorists, a face that layers of propaganda work hard to conceal.
The Gap Between Claims and Reality
Fitna al-Hindustan, the designation the Pakistani government has applied to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its affiliated terrorist outfits, presents itself as the protector of the Baloch people. But the facts on the ground tell a very different story. In late January 2026, terrorist attacks by these groups across Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Gwadar, and Pasni killed 36 innocent civilians, including women, children, and labourers. In Gwadar, eleven people were killed in an attack on a workers’ colony, among them three children. These were people who had come to build Balochistan. Their reward for that work was death.
In July 2026, seven labourers were abducted from the Kech district. One was killed immediately, and the bodies of the remaining six were found in Nasirabad. These workers had been employed on development projects. In August 2026, five labourers who had come to sell fruit in the Saranan area were martyred the same way. The United Nations Security Council itself held the BLA responsible for attacks on civilians. This is the organisation that claims to defend Baloch rights.
Abduct, Kill, Then Propagandise
The case of Irfan Ali Dinari is yet another link in this painful chain: abduction, killing, and then noise on social media. But that noise does not expose those responsible; it advances an anti state narrative instead. The affected family receives no justice; their grief is turned into a political weapon.
This is a calculated playbook. After every incident, the state is immediately blamed, regardless of what the facts say. But when Fitna al-Hindustan’s operatives themselves target Baloch citizens, those same voices fall silent.
Selective grief and selective silence, that is the true face of this propaganda.
The Khawarij’s Old Methods, New Names
Historically, the Khawarij were known for shedding Muslim blood in the name of Islam, spreading chaos under the cover of religion, and killing their people by labelling them enemies. Today, Fitna al-Hindustan does exactly the same, killing Baloch people in the name of the Baloch people. What was Irfan Ali Dinari’s crime? Abduction, killing, and silence. No charge, no trial, no verdict, just death.
Under the ongoing Operation Radd ul Fitna 3 in September 2026, 37 terrorists were killed across various districts of Balochistan, Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar, and Panjgur. Yet even after every terrorist is eliminated, the ideology that radicalises more young people persists. And that ideology draws its strength from the same propaganda campaigns that twist every incident into a weapon against the state, distort facts, and shield the real killers.
The Real Question: Whose Voice Is This?
Balochistan’s problems are real. The feelings of poverty, unemployment, and deprivation cannot be dismissed. But the question is: is the answer to those problems to be found in killing labourers, abducting civilians, and sabotaging development projects? Pushing Balochistan backwards is not a defence of Baloch rights, it is an exploitation of Balochistan.
A voice must be raised for justice for Irfan Ali Dinari, but that voice must not become fuel for anyone’s political agenda. The names of his killers must be spoken, whoever they are. When the workers’ colony in Gwadar was attacked, the local people themselves expressed outrage, against the terrorists who spilled innocent blood in their region. That is the real Balochistan. Targeting Baloch people in the name of Baloch people lays bare the glaring contradiction between Fitna al-Hindustan’s claims and its actions, and looking away from that contradiction is no longer possible.
